Ratings had been good at FrankFM, sales were great, we had a solid listener base... and still the bottom fell out! The company on the other side of our LMA decided to take the station back, and play Christian music again, so we found ourselves on the beach. Nassau Broadcasting let us work two more weeks, and say farewell to our audience, a rare and bittersweet treat. I've got a gorgeous house to sell (need a vacation home in picturesque Exeter Township, PA?) and I've decided that this could be a good thing after all, because I'm coming back home.

I first moved to Las Vegas radio with my friend Jim Tofte, and the Johnson and Tofte show had a bunch of great years. Before I left for PA, I spent a year and change on my own, with "The Big Johnson Show" on CBS's Spike Radio, and I picked up another new skill set, as I shared the spotlight with my first female partner, on the family-friendly "Ken & Jenn In The Morning." The music I know the best is classic rock, but I can adapt to any format.

My wife and I lived here for 16 years, and our kids and grandkids live here. Most of my friends do, too. I'm back to stay, and I have a LOT to offer my next employer. Years of experience, knowledge of the market, an amazing work ethic and the references to prove it. And because I've done many different things, I'm open to all kinds of possibilities. The last two companies I've worked for were great to me, and I'm friends with many of the people today.
