"Just got off the phone with longtime Las Vegas morning deejay Ken Johnson. After 2 1/2 years at a station in Reading, Pa. he's Vegas bound. One of the funniest radio guys ever. He and Jim Tofte were a great team for years at KKLZ."

Nice words from nice people

Please accept this letter of recommendation for Ken Johnson. Ken worked under my supervision as the morning co-host for Nassau Broadcasting at 1075 Frank FM (WFKB). During Ken’s time at Frank FM he continually demonstrated his great ability to prepare and execute an entertaining, compelling, and topical morning show. I was always impressed with how well he related to his target audience along with his great sense of humor. Ken has been a pleasure to work with, and has continually proven himself through his commitment to his on-air performance and serving the community in which he lives. Ken is a tremendously talented individual and if the opportunity presented itself I certainly would hire him again without hesitation. Please feel free to contact me directly if you would like to discuss Kens qualifications and any further recommendation.

Regards,

Ken Johnson was one half of our morning show here at the now defunct 107.5 Frank FM in Reading, PA (Philadelphia ADI). He and his partner Jenn put together a terrific show. Ken is a true industry pro. Sounds great on the air, is fantastic with the listeners, and has been a big help to me in many ways – updating the website, creating listening and video channels for our “On Demand Media” section and more. Ken is the work horse we all want on staff - but also is the Morning Show guy we all wish for. Plays well with others, understands that an entertaining show is what the goal is, but also understands the station needs to make money. He’ll create what the station needs if you don’t already have it going on. Please contact me if you have any questions. I wholeheartedly recommend him for any position you may have open.

Sincerely,
Randi Ellis, former PD

To Whom It May Concern:

Very rarely are we given the opportunity to not only work with exceptional individuals, but further the opportunity to recommend them and assist them in achieving all that they are capable of, thus becoming a part of their career and success.

I had the pleasure of working with Ken Johnson in Las Vegas at 96.3 KKLZ. Ken achieved at a pace rarely seen as a co-host of the Morning Show. I had the opportunity to see hands-on his ability to juggle demands from several departments. Ken is passionate and this shows through all he accomplishes.

I cannot recommend a person more highly than I recommend Ken. In all the years I have spent in this industry, I have worked with incredibly exceptional individuals and teams, and Ken falls into this category. Ken warrants this recognition from me as a result of my experiencing his motivation, friendly attitude, attention to detail and willingness to take on new tasks. Ken delivers time and again, at continuously increasing levels.

I once again cannot recommend an individual more highly than Ken Johnson.

Thank you for your time, and feel free to contact me at anytime with questions.

Sincerely,

Lin Aubuchon
